BloomBoss TrueSun LED - No Downtime Warranty Overview

One of the most common frustrations we hear from LED growers is that if an LED fixture fails, it can take a very long time to get it repaired. Typically, LEDs are shipped back to the manufacturer for repair and then shipped back to the customer. In this scenario, your light could be gone for a week or more! This leaves growers and their plants stranded without a primary light source for survival.

We knew we had to do better - Introducing the TrueSun LED - No Downtime Warranty.

All TrueSun LEDs come with a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Telephone and Web Based Support

Telephone and web-based support is available for all BloomBoss customers. Our support lines are staffed by experienced product and horticulture lighting experts who can usually, with your assistance diagnose and solve most problems over the telephone. You may also visit support.bloomboss.com for online help.

If you should experience a technical problem with your TrueSun LED, the following procedures should be followed in order to obtain warranty service.

TrueSun LED No Downtime Warranty Procedures

In the highly unlikely event that you experience a technical problem with your TrueSun LED, the following procedures should be followed in order to obtain warranty service:

Step #1 - With the serial number of your light ready; please call BloomBoss Support at (888) 323-7840. We will attempt to help you solve the problem immediately over the telephone. We may ask you to perform some simple diagnosis procedures. These procedures are necessary before proceeding to Step #2.

Step #2 - If we are unable to rectify the problem over telephone and determine if a warrantied item is defective we will ship you a replacement light.

To process your warranty, we require the serial number of the BloomBoss light, a picture of the proof of purchase (you can forward the email if ordered directly from BloomBoss), and a credit/debit card number. The card is required as insurance for shipping a second light and will only be billed if the original TrueSun light is not returned or comes back missing parts. Any failures within (45) days of purchase will be replaced with a new light. Any failures after (45) days will be fulfilled with an “as new” replacement.

Step #3 - When your replacement light arrives, simply take it out of the box, put the defective light into the very same shipping box, apply the return shipping label and ship it back to us.

TrueSun LED No Downtime Warranty Details – Years 4-5

In the event of a failure, you are responsible for shipping the TrueSun light to BloomBoss for repair. Upon receipt, our support team will repair the light at no cost to you. BloomBoss will then ship the light back to you at our expense.

 No-Down Time Warranty Upgrade

To continue under the “No Downtime Warranty” of years 1 through 3, you can upgrade for a one-time fee of $100. This fee is to cover shipping costs between you and BloomBoss. Once this $100 fee has been paid, the light will continue to be eligible for the No Downtime Warranty for the remainder of its warranty, limited to 5 years from the purchase date. This one-time fee can be paid at any time before the 5-year warranty ends and does not need to be paid ahead of time.

Out of Warranty Repairs

If your light is out of warranty, you are responsible for shipping the light to BloomBoss’ Repair Center. You will be billed for all parts and labor at a rate of $75/hour (most repairs are completed in under an hour). BloomBoss will then ship the light back at your expense. We will need the serial number of the BloomBoss light and a credit/debit card number. The credit card is required for payment for the repairs and return shipping.

No lights will be accepted for repair if they do not have an RMA ticket number logged with our team.

Which lights are TrueSun?

The TrueSun Series, includes both the VEG/TrueSun PowerPanel and TrueSun LEDs all of which are backed by our industry-leading, 5-year No Downtime Warranty.

 

What about the Fusion/Fusion Pro Series?

The Fusion/Fusion Pro Series has a three-year warranty. In the event of a failure, please contact our Product Support team and we will walk you through the steps necessary to get your light repaired.

BloomBoss will require your light’s serial number and a proof of purchase. All Fusion series lights will need to be shipped back to our Repair Center. We highly recommend using a service that provides a tracking number and insurance for shipment. No lights will be accepted if they do not have an RMA ticket number logged with our team. While under warranty, BloomBoss will cover the cost of parts and labor and ship the repaired light back to you at our expense.

Misc.

If any time prior to, or upon receipt of the defective item, it is determined that the failure is not covered under the warranty, you will be advised of the cost to repair. Upon authorization by you, we will then repair the item and return it to you, including the cost of repairing all shipping charges.

Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstance shall BloomBoss assume any liability arising out of any connection of transaction pursuant to these terms and conditions or BloomBoss's performance or asserted failure to perform hereunder in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise exceed the purchase price of the products or products sold with us which such liability relates. In no event shall BloomBoss be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages resulting from loss of use, profits, business, goodwill whether or not BloomBoss has been advised of the possibility thereof.

BloomBoss will not be liable for loss, damage or delay caused by strikes or labor difficulties, lockouts, acts of omission or any governmental party, insurrection, riot, war or similar hostility, fires, floods, acts of God, breakdown of essential machinery, accidents, cargo material shortages, delays and transportation, inability to obtain labor, materials or parts the unusual sources or otherwise due to causes beyond the BloomBoss’s reasonable control.

General: All sales are limited to and made expressly conditional on purchase of sentences of the foregoing terms and conditions. BloomBoss expressly objects to and rejects any terms and conditions that may be proposed by buyer which are in addition to or different from the foregoing terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time, without notice and it BloomBoss's sole discretion.

These terms and conditions and any agreement in which there incorporated, shall be interpreted in accordance with and governed by the laws of the state of Massachusetts and BloomBoss and purchaser hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the State of Massachusetts courts.

Notices, Requests, Demands and other Communications: All notices, requests, demands and other communication called for contemplated hereunder shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly given when delivered by US Certified or registered first-class mail, prepared, and addressed to the parties at their principal place of business is or at such other addresses as the parties may designate by written notice.  

Errors: BloomBoss reserves the right to correct stenographic errors or omissions.
